nick in* england Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 WHAT THE HECK?: So my wife and I are teaching my daughter to read and I'm going through this NFL Big & Small book of opposites. There's only one word to read on each page, so I'm going through it with my daughter... Big (photo of Gilbert Brown) and small (little kid in a football jersey), and that goes on and on through the opposites until we get to Happy (photo of father and son Packer fans all decked out in Packers gear) and Sad (photo of a forlorn Bills fan). I got so ticked off. I slammed the book shut and said, "We're not reading this book anymore!" We picked another book and kept reading, but that NFL Opposite book is headed for the trash.
