Feedback on GoBills.net email...

I've been looking over the free email service we provide and I was wondering how many board members use it regularly. Traffic has been fairly level since we started it years ago. I'm looking for feedback to decide what to do with it, what experiences you have had, or how it could be better.

Thanks...

I used to use it fairly regularly a couple of few years ago, but I ended up getting pounded with spam. Crazy amounts of it. Maybe it was all that porn I was downloading. :)

If you log in now - is the spam still there? I think they have upgraded their filtering, I'll have to check. When I log in - there is no spam whatsoever.

I have no mail period. :)

This thing used to kick off about 900 pop up ads a second. They fix that? (I have a pop up blocker now.)

They still do pop-ups it appears, but my pop-up blocker seems to stop them...

I had to change my account because of the copious amounts of spam. I think once the inbox was full and bounced messages the spammers got a clue and stopped sending but I'm not sure. I hope it was closed down to inactivity. I've since gotten another one I rarely use so it was all for naught.

Messages sent to the trash are NOT deleted after a specified time and have to be removed manually.

I think they make accounts inactive if they are not checked once per month (maybe 3 months?)

I just checked mine and I have not checked it in months.

No spam, no mail at all. I used to get one bunch of spam regularilly from one source which I think was the provider but they gave up on that.

Oh and I have popup blocking and I just got a popup.

I use to use it, but then it became a spam magnet.

it worked for me when I needed it ot work though, it just got out of hand with the spam and I had to abort.

I use it ocasionlyas a second address and I check it every day. There was a time that the spam was over the top but now there is almost none. I still get a pop-up and an advertisement window every time. I dislike how it doesn't open up directly to my mail. It also seem a bit slow.
