I am actually liking the Bills at home again this week, getting points. My strategy, although far from perfect, but profitable, is to bet dogs who I feel are the better team and will win outright. I think the Bills do that this week. I kinda like the under at 36.5 as well. They had two weeks to prepare coming off that Miami game and they were primed, wish they all could be that easy. The Bills have been a good home play this year. They've covered every game except the Atlanta game. This is the first home game they are dogs too. If I do play this game I will take the Bills and the points or I will pass altogether. After their embarassement in SD I think they will come out fighting. Carolina ia also coming off a lose though and will be tough on the Bills offense. Bad weather will help the Bills cause imo. They may not be unstoppable, but I think we are not one of the teams that can. This is the worst I have felt about our team since I first became a football (and Bills) fan 14 years back. I told him I liked Indy/Cincy over 47.5. He gave me the "sucker bet" line, so I told him to take the under if that was the case. He said, "Well, you know I'm not going to take the under, but the over is a sucker bet." I said okay and called it in....Over on the first drive of the 3rd quarter...Cha-ching! The sucker bet apparently was Carolina last week, and I did get pulled into that one. I had them at -3.5. But the rest of the day went well: Giants -7, Chiefs -7.5, Chargers -12.5 (I hated doing it but I had to) and Denver -13. I'll start studying up on this week today when the injuries are released. If you look at his "this is a lock, bet the farm" post from last week, he was wrong and people were giving him crap about it (rightfully so, IMHO). I made a post that I lost my HT because I bet everything on the lock, and people kinda took the comment and ran with it Truth is, I'm not a gambler by any stretch of the imagination. Heck, the first time I went to a casino, I was given a quarter by someone. I put it in the slot machine, won $1.25 back, and called it a day.
