Who will win the AFC East

Face it... as much as we've all bitched, there's a decent chance that at the end of the day we'll be in first place in the division, as we currently hold all the tiebreaker cards. Miami is losing and New England plays a very good Denver team on the road.

If we win today and go 3-0 in the AFC/2-0 in the division we have a HUGE leg up on everyone with regard to the tiebreaker. Complete opposite of last season.

While I dont doubt that we might still have a chance at the playoffs, taking over 1st from new england seems like a very difficult uphill battle. I was suprised to see we were so close to NE in the poll.

Course its just a poll, and an unscientific one at that...so it isnt worth anything, but I am suprised about 70 percent of the people didnt take NE.

Although that’s not the case within the division, it goes to common opponents after division record. Right now the Bills are 0-3 against teams New England has played or will play, with the exception of our divison oponents, and New England is 2-2 against teams we have played or will play.

The AFC record is big for the wild card, and the must win the division mentality is getting a little overplayed here. The wild card spots aren't close to being locked by anybody right now, and with our AFC record we could certainly be in running if we improve.

That will last one week...until we run the gaultlet of our remaining schedule. Hopefully the Bills will have gotten their heads together before then. if so, it should be fun...if not, then it's hello JP.
