Come on.  It's not the team's blunder and the guy is hurt.  Is this really what we're doing here?

They got eliminated and now these guys have nothing no reason to play hurt.

This is a huge nothing - he was holding out hope for. Potential playoff push and now they are done and he can get the surgery and be ready to be a FA this off season and get away.

 

The Bengals did nothing wrong - this is the team admitting they are done and trying to find players for the future.

It read to me like the Bengals pushed him to play 2 weeks after the initial injury. With what happened with Tee Higgins yesterday, it's an honest mistake.
