I cannot remember a Super Bowl champions who entire offense relied on the QB (with all due respect to James Cook).  And a team whose defensive strategy relied on the QB sustaining long drive after long drive to keep the defense off the field.

I probably would say they most closely resemble the 2011 Ravens with a better QB and a worse defense. 2011 Ravens were a 12-4 team but did win on the road in the playoffs.

But the Bills if they should make a run will probably make it off of Josh and the ground game and a defense that “gets hot”. Who knows the AFC Isn’t exactly having a power house team you really fear even on the road

This is a great topic.

Let’s start with features.

1.  HOF QB

2. Elite RB and O line / running game

3. Fantastic pass defense

4. No name pass rush - aging all pro vet Bosa

5. No great WRs

Best Super Bowl comp?

1998 Denver Broncos

HOF QB

Terrel Davis rushed for 2000

Leading WR Rod Smith 86 catches for 1200 (Shakir)

Elite TE production Shannon Sharpe 64 catches for 768 yards (Kincaid)

Leader in sacks - 2 guys with 8.5 (Bosa and Oliver - please come back)

Leader in tackles - John Mobley 125

Denver point differential:

501 PF and 309 PA = +192

Our pace:

447 and 364 (playing 1 more game) = +83
