Tenhigh Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Have you hears about this? Curious on the board's take. Connor Grubb is the Ohio cop that shot the woman who was shoplifting liquor from the Krogers. When the police approached her car in the parking lot she accelerated into him and he shot her. She was pregnant also. What does everyone think of this case?
Orlando Buffalo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't know the details past what you have posted, if it is shown she was accelerating towards him then he should walk free. 1
B-Man Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Well I see that the judge in the case has already dismissed the killing of the child. Connor Grubb Trial: Judge dismisses counts related to the death of unborn child https://abc6onyourside.com/news/local/
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I got the body cam footage! https://www.foxnews.com/us/body-camera-footage-controversial-fatal-police-shooting-ohio-expected-released-public 1
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Murder no, but maybe manslaughter. He shouldn't of shot her. He shouldn't have pulled the gun out. She obviously needed arrested--if theft occurred and because car had no plates, but they should of followed her and then arrested her. She was obvioulsy a POS for (if true) stealing but if a cop tells you get out of car you do it.

I think he gets cleared, tbh.

Though, I get it, but cops need to calm people down, and try has hard as possible to de-esclate

Thoughts on that situation relative to this one? 1

She literally tried to run the cop over. 2 minutes ago, Trump_is_Mentally_fit said: Who, that rioting biotch? Boy, MAGA is your religion, ain't it? Like the dead woman here, Babbitt was committing a crime too. Its a fair question, imo, and an interesting point of comparison.

Before that, he drew his gun, I think that was a mistake. Too early And if a crazy Be itch is driving at you...get out of the way. Justice takes time sometimes. They would have arrested her eventually

Tibsy, did you know that in most jurisdictions it’s an automatic FAIL if, during a road test, you try and run someone over? One lady apparently tries to run a police officer over in her Lexus and you’re talking de-escalation, calming things down and the police officer going to jail for stooping someone trying to run him down. I don’t have an issue with attempting to de-escalate, or attempting to calm things down, but you lose me with “manslaughter”. In the other case, an unarmed woman is walking toward an armed officer and he shoots her. That officer could have de-escalated, right? Calmed things down, that sort of thing. Just seeking clarity.
