Defense is a lost cause because McDermott will micromanage whoever is DC and no competent DC will want to work with that. It will be an internal hire only

Study up on the WCO. It's a timing offense and it's kinda what we want Josh to do now and many will tell you that's not letting Josh be Josh.

All I know is I want Brian Flores as our next HC.  He was the best HC Miami had since Shula who got more out of his rosters than most do.  Pair him with an innovative OC and pick his DC. He got such a raw deal in Miami its stunning he isn't a HC again already.  

 

I would also be open to BB and Josh McDaniels combo - not sure McDaniels leaves NE for anyone but BB at this point, if he would even do that given the upstart Pats and young stud QB.  

 

If nothing else, it would be very entertaining to watch Belichick and Vrabel coaching against each other in the AFC East.
