Leaving the pit in guacamole does nothing.  Avocado browns due to exposure to oxygen. 

 

Things that will delay the browning your avocado or guac:   

 

1. Leaving the pit inside one half of an avocado until you need to use it;

2. Covering closely with plastic wrap. As in plastic wrap pressed directly to the surface of the guac.

3. Lime juice

Somehow this hit the notes of both heartwarming and hysterical simultaneously—watching Tasker go ape on the foodie delights I think is the ultimate compliment for the home brew chefs…I’m so here for it!! 🤣❤️
