It's the entire environment. Similar to what Bosa has said about Buffalo reconnecting him to the feeling he had at Ohio State, and how in LA there's too many other things besides football.

And yet....the Rams, in that high-distraction LA environment, have had a pretty successful team since 2017, with 2 Superbowl appearances, 1 Championship, and playoffs 6 out of 8 years

 

So apparently, the right coach and the right makeup of the team can overcome the environment and all its distractions
