David Johansen (New York Dolls/Buster Poindexter) died Thursday at age 75.

As Buster Poindexter he was the bandleader on SNL for several years. He also acted. I remember him as one of the ghost] of Christmas Past in Scrooged (the disheveled cabbie one). He had stage 4 brain cancer since 2020 and fell and broke his back in several places in November.
