Every loss or close game shouldn’t come down to a defensive player being present or not. A game here or there, sure. But this is a trend. You win a game in today by scoring the most points and that is where we are struggling. 
 

This defense, for all it’s missing players, are doing a decent job to have us in games.

Jones is missed. Tre White? OK, Tre’s a good player. But this thread is talking about making plays. Interceptions. Forced fumbles. Big sacks. Electric plays on offense. Big chunk, long TD plays.

There is still plenty on the defensive line. Just look at the assets we have spent on that unit. There should be no excuses.

 

The defensive backfield is the same except switch out White for Douglas.

 

Milano was a huge loss. Daquan Was a big loss…but nobody has picked up the slack.

 

Too many excuses.
