First, you’re assuming it’s the scouts doing a bad job and not the GM and those around him ignoring them and just choosing who they want. Yes that does happen.

Your D was 4th overall and 8th in scoring D. So while people are screaming for change here the stats don’t show it and who will you get that’s better?

Your O is Elite but to reliant on Allen.

Yeah it's hard to point a finger of blame at the Bills scouts when early in the 2022 season they were being lauded for having the most starts in the NFL by own-drafted players since 2017.

I'm guessing that's still the case with so much own-player retention and injuries forcing players like Hamlin, Elam, Benford and Jackson into a ton of starts.......but if not, they must still rank near the very top despite an average original draft slot over 20 in round 1 in that 6 year period.

Their draft issues are mostly decisions in the second and third round and I generally blame those on Beane reaching for immediate, perceived needs instead of BPA.

When they get later in the draft and they are more inclined to follow the board they seem to fair better versus the competition.

No.  You identify the shortcoming and drive on.

Absolutely, this roster, coaching staff and front office all need to get better.  Firing a bunch of people isn't the best answer unless you have better people waiting to join the team.

And we agree. They need to get better. "Firing" the Safety's coach and other minor moves sounds like crickets to me.

Every good team - save one - ends the season in failure.

Every defense collapses at some point - both D's collapsed yesterday in the Super Bowl.  Maybe both teams should fire their coaches.

But when it happens 4 years in a row? Really?

Things happen that's always true, but when it's consistent the problem has to be fixed.

What's the definition of insanity again?
