Preparing Automatic Repair Loop

Make sure all USB devices are unplugged except mouse and keyboard.   Then...

 

1) Remove cover -  Eject and reseat ram modules.   Then try booting again

 

if no bueno

 

2) Boot to flash drive or dvd and run hard drive diagnostics.   It's probably effed.

 

If you have to replace the hard drive, replace it with a SSD.   Not doing so is pure lunacy.

I'd second the thought below. Unplug all components, start with cpu and drive only, then add back in.
