IDBillzFan
It turns out the winners of Battle of the Gridiron Stars will later take on The Best of Battle of the Network Stars. Today's football players will take on an old school network roster featuring Robert Conrad, Gabe Kaplan, Scott Baio, Bob Newhart, Lou Ferrigno, Kristy McNichol, Victoria Principal and Susan Pleshette. Must see TV.
stuckincincy
I remember Roger Manning. He was the navigator in the popular series of books in the '50's, titled "Tom Corbett, Space Cadet" by Cary Rockwell. Tom had the command deck, Roger handled navigation, and Astro, a big Venusian, manned the power deck as members of the Solar Guard had adventure after adventure across the galaxy! "Star Trek" by Roddenberry was a *bit* of a theft...
Gavin in Va Beach
good luck tko. and please don't get injured 301705[/snapback] I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that it's already taped, so we'd know it by now if Spikes had been injured. Buftex
Just scrolling through the ESPN schedule (some of us are nut lucky enough to get the NFL Network- stinking Time Warner!), and see that ESPN is actually running reruns of "1st & 10" starring our beloved Orenthal! What a blast from the past. It makes "Arli$$" almost tolerable...
