Andrea walked into class one day, full of naive confidence, and insisted that she could incontrovertibly prove the existence of God. Now we all know that no one can do that, it’s a matter of faith. It’s also a huge part of a Jesuit education to challenge things. So while she argued creationism, we argued that we evolved from single-celled amoeba and crawled out of the slime as alligators.
