He was passed on by teams that needed a QB and could have had him as is (and as he still is) for a 3rd round pick. The Seahawks had just laid out $ to make Matt Flynn their starter. Carroll was smart enough to realize quickly that Wilson better than Flynn or Jackson. That worked great last time. Good point. Sure he got Lucky with Wilson. If he knew how good he would be, he'd have taken him over the illustrious Bruce Irvin. And Rex enthralled both Terry and Kim during his interview. So that was different.
