The Holiday Season of movies begins with the arrival of November. The studios unleash their big name brands for the next two months to close out 2015, where there will be plenty of diversity to satisfy all movie goers. The biggest movie this month is the conclusion to a big franchise, in the young adult trend.

Lionsgate completes it's biggest money making franchise ever, as Jennifer Lawrence stars in, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2". As the war of Panem escalates to the destruction of other districts by the Capitol, Katniss Everdeen, the reluctant leader of the rebellion, must bring together an army against President Snow, while all she holds dear hangs in the balance. Also starring Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Donald Sutherland & Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Daniel Craig returns as agent 007, in "Spectre". A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Also starring Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Monica Belluci & Lea Seydoux.

For the first time, Disney releases a second Pixar animated movie in the same year, with "The Good Dinosaur". An epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. Starring the voices of Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn & A.J. Buckley.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie star in, "By The Sea". Set in France during the mid-1970s, Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland, an American writer, travel the country together. They seem to be growing apart, but when they linger in one quiet, seaside town they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/café-keeper and a hotel owner.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen & Anthony Mackie star in, "The Night Before". On Christmas eve, three lifelong friends, two of whom are Jewish, spend the night in New York City looking for the Holy Grail of Christmas parties.

In "The Peanuts Movie", Snoopy embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home.

...Which shouldn't be surprising since Austin Powers was a spoof of 007. That's kind of the definition. Unless you're saying Spectre was bad?

Depends if you're in the mood for a comedy. It's a spoof of a spoof.

The writers were trying to pay tribute to the original bond films, and succeeded in creating a parody- of Austin Powers.

The first thing everyone mentioned after watching "Spectre" is Dr. Evil. (which was immediately followed by someone mentioning that Austin Powers was a spoof of 007- yes, we ALL know). If you actually stop and think about the plot, It's difficult NOT to make the reference.

(FYI- if you cut down the 2.5hr movie to just scenes that advance the plot, you'll have less than 20mins.)
