Will NE hit a wall this season?

Not so much believe it as truth but would not be shocked if it were fact. They have played football for almost 100 years and in all that time no team had dominated its opposition at the highest level like the Pats** do. Is it only because Ernie Adams and Bill Belichick are the two smartest humans ever who happened to come across the greatest QB ever, or did they job the system? It's a question no one is willing to ask.

Really? No one has asked this question?

Anyway, given how they are playing, you can't really believe that he is getting coached over the radio as described.....do you?

If no then why keep bringing it up? If yes, just say it.

Sometimes athletes (and coaches) do things at an extraordinary and dominating level. The reason why they are deemed extraordinary is because such greatness is a rare occurrence which might happen once or twice in a person's lifetime. We are witnessing such an event at this time with Brady and Belichick.

Cheatriots related. ESPN article (my opinion to run up the score and padding Tainted Tom's stats).

Rodney Harrison during his weekly appearance on sports radio WEEI on Tuesday, as he said, "The Patriots** are a hated team. ... I don't want to see Brady* when you're up 30 or 40 points and he could get injured."

Brady* was playing when the Patriots** were leading 44-10 in the fourth quarter and dropped back to pass eight times on a 17-play, 58-yard drive that extended from 13:18 to 3:31 remaining. It was a drive in which Julian Edelman was kept on the sideline, while top tight end Rob Gronkowski only came on for three snaps in the goal-line power package.

So why keep Brady on, but pull Edelman and significantly limit Gronkowski?

Asked a big-picture question of how he determines who to pull out of games, the following was Belichick's explanation when asked during his weekly interview on WEEI on Monday: "This isn't like college where you have a backup at every position. We only had seven offensive linemen at the game. Somebody has to get in there and play. We just do the best we can to try to manage it there. We didn't do a good job of it last week on offense or defense, and Buffalo got back in the game in a hurry.

Bellyache will (hardly) ever play soft. May it bite him in the azz one day.
