Never again are we going to see something like the Drury/Briere exit on the same day. A new stadium is going to be built, most likely in the city. Harbor Center is world class. Each team has more star power than it has in a long time (although the Sabres are very very young). That's a LOT of "nice things." There is really no reason to think "woe is us" because woe isn't us. It does not guarantee anything, but Buffalo sports are looking to have a bright future. Just a few years ago we had Golisano and Quinn whining about not being able to afford players and the very real specter of the Bills moving (we did not know then what we know now). Brady and Belichick won 1 title in the past decade. There are no guarantees. But I am seriously sorry for anyone who cannot see the difference here.
