why do I bother arguing with the legion of the doomed

Fitz + this guy = 1 more win in Houston 9-7 than his best 3x in Buffalo of 6-10

Yes that guy singlehandedly won a game last year- against Buffalo. Our defense won us several. You do realize that even though they have that guy, our defense is way better than theirs top to bottom, right?

FTR JJW singlehandedly won a minimum of 3 games for the Texans last season other than against the Bills.

Our series looking at plays that defined the Houston Texans' 2014 season.

J.J. Watt's fumble return touchdown A botched snap with Watt in pursuit can be disastrous for an opposing offense. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck learned that the hard way in the fourth quarter of the Texans' Thursday night game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Last week and this week we are taking a look at the 10 plays that defined the Houston Texans' 2014 season. The best defensive player in the NFL has made several appearances on this list, and he will again today.

Watt's safety

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt rushed forward into Jaguars left tackle Luke Joeckel, pushed him back, then athletically spun the other way to catch and drive down quarterback Blake Bortles inside his own end zone with 5:51 left in the season.

The list is J.J. Watt-heavy, starting with this one.

J.J. Watt's first touchdown catch

Under the previous coaching staff, Watt lobbied. He practiced the one-handed catches with the Jugs machines. He even got in on a goal-line play that former Texans coach Gary Kubiak lightly called the Wisconsin package, with players who came from the University of Wisconsin: tight end Owen Daniels, tight end Garrett Graham and Watt. Kubiak would chuckle at the thought of using Watt in an actual game, though.

He also completely dominated the Ravens game, where Flacco had a worse game than EJ. Watt is an animal.

I hear you. I did say minimum 3 games.

We have the morning to discuss rationally before the 3 Musketeers come in trashing all things EJ and making excuses.

A good time to avoid this thread and all the dead horse meat. ;)
