That was a wisecrack on my part, didn't mean to derail things. Anyway, MA sends its fair share AND MORE to Washington, you'd think DC would cover the added cost. Now, AK with its huge remote/wild international border gets more back than it sends to Washington... Why are they bogueing out and being cheapos? Don't say it is on principle... Also Maine is on the list, didn't the 911 terrorists cross its similar remote border there? You'd think Washington would @ least pick-up the tab for the citizens of the Commonwealth of MA. It isn't like they aren't sending them not enough money already. Yet, the welfare queen Red States pile on like cheapos, namely AK. It is their turn to buy a round and they are nowhere in sight. Make AK pay up AND pick-up the tab for MA.
