Point spreads are meant to do one thing: to take the body of bettors and divide them equally between the two teams so that the book will win either way. In other words, the point spreads are meant to reflect the opinions of the bettors. It's charming that "let me educate you on vegas" guy is dead wrong for the 873rd consecutive time.
