Well, Buffalo has lost to both New Orleans and Kansas City and fans here are still convinced that the Bills will be in the playoffs this season. The Bills are so bad right now they would lose to every team in the AFC besides Jacksonville. They beat a bad Dolphins team outside of that they've been punch less since September. Not coincidentally, that game was the only one since September that the Bills D forced a turnover of any consequence. We need them to make more game changing plays, but they just can't. When was the last time a corner made a play? McKelvin couldn't pickup a fumble yesterday, we lose. Outside of a Carolina choke, a Flacco 5 int melt down, and a Miami fumble we are a 0-9 team. Who cares how close we keep the score. We have been destroyed in crunch time of the 4th quarter. You can point to the same types of things in every game that we've lost thus far besides the Saints game last week. We could just as easily be 8-1 as 0-9. It's the NFL. Many teams are very close talent-wise and a handful of plays determines a game. In years past, the Bills were nowhere near close talent-wise and games would not come down to a few plays. If you took away all of the Pats wins, they woudn't have any, right? Most NFL games are not blowouts. You can say most games came down to a play here or there, often in the final minutes. Do I really think the Bills will get there, no, but the season is not dead just yet. It only goes to show how important it was in the off season that the Bills did something other than draft EJ to secure the QB situation. Yesterday's game and the Cleveland game were both very winnable. Image how different the season would "feel" right now had we won those games. Finding the right QB is the most critical issue there is for the Bills organization right now. Two big "if's" right now, if they have the right QB in Manuel and if the Bills put together a very solid draft in 2014 this team could get much better quickly.
