My guess is his name has never come up because he has never coached nor shared the desire to coach? If you can't get Kelly, I think Trent Edwards might be available at the end of the season? Heck, now that you think about it, Fitz might be a better coach then he is a quarterback-oh wait, I would be a better coach then Fitz is a quarterback. Nevermind. Do you really think Jim Kelly could coach an NFL team? Why? Is there a precedent for not very bright, former QBs jumping into head coaching positions and being successful? Even the Harbaughs paid their dues. Having a good arm does not qualify one to be a coach. Personally, I appreciate his quarterback play in the early 90s during my teens, but he's not very bright. He believes his buddies, the Maloofs, would buy the Bills and actually keep them in Buffalo. C'mon man.
