Can we see what we have in TJ? [Tarvaris Jackson]

There isn't a human being on planet Earth that can comfortable and be efficient in that complicated offense with only 3 months of limited reps.

The fact that he couldn't possibly be ready is not any sort of reflection on him.

But it is the reflection on the head coach who continues to run that offense, despite the lack of talent required to run it, and most importantly the loss of the QB's security blanket in the season opener.

Tarvaris may not be the melon head that Fitz is ... but, what would happen if Fitz and TT both can't go? It wouldn't go too well for Gailey to have to trot out a guy that might not even know where to line up. B-)

Here's a guess: Chan never wanted Jackson here in the first place and Jackson only has 5 games left on his contract. His project is and has been Fitzpatrick in whom he has spent all his time and energy.

pretty much on point here. not sure why this is so hard for people to understand.

Chan and Fitz are joined at the hip. short of back to back 4 int games, fitz isn't sitting.

The real question here is can Jackson handle the mental part of running this offense. Fitz with his Wunderlich score of 48 and Harvard education has the big brain part down pat. His arm is the issue. Jackson needs to know enough to run a respectable offense, not necessarily th e whole package, but a respectable play mix. Anyhow, I think we will see him when the bills are at 8 or 9 losses.

This ain't rocket science. All a Bills QB has to is hand it off 60 percent of the time, throw a few long bombs to loosen things up (hopefully connecting on some) and then throw a few sceens, outs and medium-down-the middle stuff to Chandler. How long does it take to do that. TJ has been here for months!

TJ had a good season last year. A playoff season at QB.

My guess is that losing a draft pick isn't as much of a concern as just Gailey being stubborn and trying to fit his system to Fitz.

Do you know any males in their 60's and older who aren't stubborn?

Coaches hate to look like they've made a mistake and give a backup a shot. He wants to win as many games as possible right now and isn't concerned with next year or finding out how well a backup would do.

I would love to see TJ throw some passes for us.
