Those who refuse to learn from history...

Recommended Posts

I know RW, during a brief period of lucency, may be the only one from the current management team that can remember SuperBowl 25 but maybe they should watchc the film. The Giants stopped our offense with LB's. We stopped ourselves by letting Kelly continue to throw the ball when Thruman may have run for 200 yards.

Does any of this sound familiar???

The good teams are now spreading people out and running the ball. They are spreading people out and still putting a TE or two on the field. We have a FB and 4 QB's on our roster. We have no TE that can beat people deep. We do have two or three very good RB's but a coach that refuses to run them. We make the weakest unit on the team even worse by playing Scott at LB.

It is the same guy beating us the same way 25 yrs later.

I agree with u, We can't adjust. Its obvious that CJ is our best player on Offense, why is he on the sidelines. Hell he might be the best player on the team.

The Bills need to find a way to adjust now. Its not hard, the Broncos were the laughing stock of the league last season at 2-6. They were getting blown out every week. What did they do they adjusted , they switched there offensive philosopy from spread offense to power running game. They ended p making the playoffs and winning a wildcard gm. I think 9 out of 10 Bills fans will take that right now.

If there is one thing Gailey and Stache are known for it is not making any adjustments from week to week or half to half.

They are set in their ways and fail to realize they can't gameplan for sh*t and refuse to change up during a game even when it is obvious that what they are trying isn't working.

Yep. My friend is a Cowboys fan and even he felt sorry for me after the last two weeks. I brought up exactly the point you just made, and he just nodded sorrowfully and said "That's Chan Gailey, for you."

We did just play arguably the best 2 teams in their conferences.

4 lineman down, 2 banged up backs, 1 de with a hurt wrist & our veteran corner hurt with 2 22 year old starters at corner, a 23 year old starting middle backer, a 22 year old defensive tackle another tackle coming off Achilles repair, and a 3rd down de playing 3 downs. Why not play Kelsay on 1st & 2nd down?

We have no #1 receiver, and no quality tight end who can beat press coverage.

Excuses don't win Super Bowls

I was just about to say excuses are like @$$holes. Everyones got them and they all stink.

The Bills have nobody to blame for all these issues except themselves.

Thier "veteran" CB is injured? No ****!!! He's always injured. The fact that he's even here is no ones fault but thier own. If they wanted veteran presence, they should have cut the guy that's always injured and kept Florance.

The RBs are coming off injury? No ****!!! They should have sat one of them last week when they were both questionable. Not to mention they shouldn't have given a huge extension to the RB that is in the wrong side of 30 years old and coming off a major leg injury. The idiocy of this move makes me question every move the FO makes.

The LBs??? Why in earth didn't we address it more? Why do we have to rely on 2 out of position players (Moats and Scott) to start ot play as much as they do? Why do we have a 3rd round LB that is a little better than average at best as our starting MLB? Why did we think a 4th round LB would fill in without any issues? Mindblowingly rediculous.

Why don't we have a #1 WR? because we waited until the 3rd and 4th rounds to draft one in the last 3 years. Because we drafted another Lee Evans size WR with the expectations that he would or could be a starter opposite Stevie. Because we pick up scrub Special Teams type WRs and expect them to come in and not only start but hope they will pan out. F-ing rediculous!

We have no QB??? No ****!!! Because we haven't even thought about addressing the position in over 3 years. Because Chan doesn't want a QB controversy with his sub talented Harvard minded B!TCH. Because they cut Vince Young for absolutely no reason other than knowing for sure that within 3 games we'd all be calling for VY to start and Chan wouldn't have a choice. Because we wasted a draft pick on Tarvares Jackson and refuse to even dress him for games. Because Chan stated that TJ probably won't even see the field this year. Why on earth does that even make sense?

Because Chan is an idiot and refuses to run the damn ball and keep the bad plays and bad descisions out of the noodle armed QBs hands. Because Wanny refuses to Blitz. Because our playbook is so freaking complicated and stupid that you have to have a Harvard Grad with a perfect SAT score and Wonderlic score to run it. Because the offensive players (except Fitz) knows that they are doomed because they don't do what they are best at ( running the ball) and instead have to live the nightmare that is Fagpatrick. Because Mario Williams is a B!TCH and refuses to work hard and makes excuses about it. Because the rest of the defense knows that the offense won't ever be able to bail them out because Fagpatrick and the horrible pass happy playcalling of the HC. Because the offense and Chan know that the defense couldn't stop the opponents if they had 32 players on the field and were quadruple covering every WR.

We suck. But chances are, well win the next 2. Only to give us all hope going into the bye week and then well lose the rest of them going forward.
