millbank Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 Suppose such ranking can be a boost to being optimistic to teams prospects if supposed expert/experts rank them favorably , but really take little stock in what they are saying. Given training camp has just started , so much to find out about new additions as to how they will impact team, how much veterans returning have healed from injuries and learned from last seasons experience. Perhaps by game four of season we will know better as to where this team is in terms of actually competing and having a shot of being playoff team we would like them all to be. Nice to get the accolades of others maddening when they don't get their due, but in the end if they have more points at the final gun, we can always point to the scoreboard. Hoping we will be able to do this more times than not this season and then the rest will take care of itself. Bengals who we should've beat? Chiefs who we crushed? no reason it can't be us. It's the Ravens, not the Bengals, who are going to fall off - everyone pencils them in - but their D is old and/or hurt, and they lost OL talent.
