None of the articles mention any social programs, nor reference the fact that any of the people described in the article are on social programs... so how are you making that connection? Actually, if we're going to be completely intellectually honest, social engineering has done more harm to the black family than to any other group in this country. Obviously beginning with slavery, progresing through Jim Crow, the systemic seperation of fathers from the family unit in the 40's and 50's destroying the traditional household, right up through the soft slavery of state dependance we see today.
