Root for Rams against Eagles?

Recommended Posts

If the Rams beat both the Eagles and Jets, they are in the playoffs no matter what else anyone does?

Need to root for the Rams against the Eagles in order to make the Jets game meaningful?

They need Seattle to lose next week to win their division. Still, root for the Lambs.

St. Louis needs a win tomorrow night.  Their game with the Jets is at 1 pm and the Seattle game is at 4 next week.  They own the tie breaker on Seattle because they swept them, so if they win tomorrow night they have to beat NY to keep THEIR hopes alive.

Root for the Rams tomorrow big time. If they win, their playoffs hopes will still be alive when they play the Jets at 1 PM, although they can win both games and still not make it if Seattle wins their 4 PM game.

No matter what happens tommorrow night, Martz will be coaching for his job against the Jets.  If he wins he probably will be back, lose (especially if its a blowout) & he's gone.

The Jets are playing with a sore armed QB & that's never good.

Make that a sore-armed QB who's going to get SODOMIZED by the media this week, and it's even worse.

If they go 8-8, don't they get the #6 seed?

That's not correct. If Seattle wins, Minn wins, and either New Orleans or Carolina wins (they're playing each other), then StL is out (having lost to both NO and Car).

However, what's important is if the Rams win tomorrow, there is no scenario where they would be eliminated before next week. They would still be "fighting for their playoff lives" against the Jets.

But, on the other hand, if StL loses tomorrow, they're eliminated.

So tomorrow's game is big, big, big!
