bigc14120 Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 Its not going to work if you have 0 threat of a passing game, as the Broncos do now. Line up 1 or 2 corners on a WR and put 9 in the box. Then see how well the running 55 times a game works. Also, the broncos haven't really beaten anyone of consequence. The chiefs and dolphins aren't good, and the raiders, like the Bills, have shown flashes of good play but have been inconsistent. The only time the broncos played a legit team (detroit), they got blown out. The Tebow touchdown had that defense, Tebow got around left end for 20+yards and the TD. Beating the Jets is someone of consequence...even if it was at home. Denver can be beated (we hope by the Bills on Christmas eve), but it will take inovative defense. The option works when the QB can pound the ball. And, as Rex Ryan told his defensive backs, Tebow will not run out of bounds, he will "look you up".
