Injuries...

Recommended Posts

We all loved to blame DJ and drafting small players. Then we all said it was a lack of two a day practices. What the hell is it? Is there any common thread? They happen in cold and warm weather, to big and small players. I just wonder if they need an outside consultant to look at what the hell is happening to tis team. I know all teams have injuries but the Bills have lost a starting LT, CB, OLB, DT, and number 2 WR. What other team survives that, let alone the DT is the heart and soul of the defense? Add in the loss of the backup LT, the kicker, and nickel CB and the season rapidly spirals out of control.

Anyone have any rational thoughts?

Injuries are bad league wide. You know your own better than other teams. Further, when was the last time McGee merriman and bell were healthy in the same game minus the season opener - heck - when was the last time 2 of 3 were healthy?

When you are not in a playoff race you put guys on IR (in regards to DJ), additionally.

Example: saints players to miss atleast one of the last two games: strief (RT), kruetz (center- injured, retired), Tracy porter (#2 corner), jonathon Vilma (probowl MLB, heart soul and play caller of the D), Ingram (first round RB), Chris ivory (last years leading rusher), Sean payton (coach, ACL) all come to mind off hand.... Not to mention colstons broken collarbone in week one, abruyo franklins leg injury early etc.... Just hitting important players here...

Injuries are and have been a part of the game. The Packers won a Super Bowl with an IR list a mile long.

A very good example. Our biggest problem is we are still working to raise the talent level on the roster. They have much more depth, and generally more playmakers.
