Merry Christmas Eve TSW!!!

At the ripe old age of 37, Christmas day is not what it once was. As child, the giddiness and anticipation of the Christmas day came to a climax (no, not that climax) on the eve of the big day. It's been about 25 years or so since I had that feeling on Christmas eve. That is not to say, that I never have that feeling. I most definitely do. It occurs on the eve of the bills season opener. How will our first rd pick impact our team? Which FA acquisition will make the biggest difference? Will we actually be able to score (sad but true)? Can our defense stop the run? All the questions we've had over the last several months wont be answered, but we'll have a much better understanding of the team we love so much. In years past, the difference was minimal. Due to the additions we've made in the offseason, I billieve that things may actually improve drastically on OBD. Offensively, I predict much of the same. Bad Oline = Bad news. Gailey and Fitzy may have something up their sleeve, but it would take a remarkable effort on their parts to turn this offense into one of the leagues best. We'll know more tomorrow vs a decent KC defense. The Real anticipation lies, IMO, with our defense. The additions of Dareus, Merriman, Barnett, Morrison, Williams, sheppard, Batten plus the transformation of Carrington gives me (us) reason the billieve we may have one of the better defenses in the NFL. I've long thought we've had a decent secondary, but lacked the pass rush to allow them to shine. I think we'll get some good pressure and should have marked improvement vs the run. This will put the pressure on the secondary. Are they up to the task? Tomorrow, we'll test them out some (albeit not a lot due too the offense we're playing). Lots of questions, no answers atm. Tomorrow we'll open our presents and see what we've got. Get fired up Bills fans (I'm sure you already are), the Christmas tree seems to have a lot more presents under it than in years past. Let's hope we get something good. I'm getting tired of the coal. As Ric Flair would say....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas, NewEra.

Unfortunately for me, I'm working tomorrow.

Just glad I have NFL Sunday Ticket, a nice TV, and a good DVR.

I'll miss the live game thread though.

I hope the moderators allow a live game thread and don't try driving traffic through the Shoutbox this year.

I'd be disappointed too if I thought Christmas was about getting presents.

As a little kid, it was about getting presents and having fun with my family. I could careless about the birth of Jesus, considering it's not really his birthday. It was a day to look forward to, just like opening day. What was Christmas all about to you when you were a little kid? The birth of Jesus?

It looks like for the first time in years the Grinch is finally getting run out of town. He won't get the chance to spoil our Christmas like in years past. I can't wait to see our D in action tomorrow! I'll be on the road headed to Vegas during the game but will be listening intently on the radio. I haven't felt this excited for an opening game in a long long time. The anticipation has been driving me crazy and I've been making everyone around me, family, friends and coworkers well aware of it!
Lol thanks for the invite New Era I'll be arriving into Vegas late tho due to some stops along the way then to the airport to pick up some friends. I've never been to a Bills Backers bar. Some day tho! Have a great time!

Go Bills!!!
It's not a bbb. The bills bars are a bit too far for my tastes. I tend to get too smashed to drive and my gf doesn't wanna drive to the other side of town to pick my drunk ass up

Calm down you're the one that can't climax on Christmas Eve.
