3rdand12 Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 (edited) This was fun. An excitable group of fans here on the Kelsay subject. My humble. Completely lost in 3-4 transition. Embarassing and enough to anger at his seeming misreads and blown assignments. Looked awful. He was never a game changer anyways and the team lost what dynamics they had with the big shuffle. Which is also why we have anger towards G edwards, the seemingly stumble bum coach. But i actually saw him start to seal the edge on occasion and force the play inside to, um Poz, in the latter half of the season. Thats what they wanted him to do as the coaches realized his abilities. I was as shocked and appalled as anyone with the money thing and may never understand it. But right now he looks, so far like he might be of some help and find his footing. We gotta hope because at this point we still have him on the field. lets also hope the coaches can make MUCH better use of him this year. Go Chris! artmalibu Posted August 3, 2011 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Last year he was "lucky" enough to play on a defence with; the WORST D coaching no pass rush specialist after Aron retired fellow linemen who created absolutely no disruption (other than Williams) a bunch of teammates on IR little help from the offense I think that most of the issues above have been addressed so we will see. Last year he started all 16 games, made 46 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble, not to shabby for a guy with NO supporting cast. Everyone is pissed about the contract he got, like its Julies Peppers type money??? Lastly I like him because he shows up and plays his ass off!!!!
