Sisyphean Bills
Is your point that the rebuilding process would be aided if the Bills could play in a backwater league, like say the UFL?
frogger
All the more reason not to draft a QB. 1-it would be suicidal to put a rookie behind this line. 2-if our season isn't what we want, maybe luck next year.
John from Riverside
I think the point the OP might be trying to make is.....we played a lot of playoff teams this year....and were in nearly every game..... but.....that is not good enough

It's not 2008 the oline is slightly below average there are 2 top 40 picks starting, if they lock down RT the line would be slightly above average plus 1b. No one wants the rookie QB to start next season. 2. Dont start the lose out in 2011 talk already.
marauderswr80
who we play next year means nothing! Look at the vikings last year, one throw away from going to the super bowl and now have a top 10 pick. point being teams can change in a hurry with a good draft and FA's and or injuries.... Búfalo Blanco
To Heh heh heh.... Wooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Why do I think of Tom Brady..? A great Buffalo team should be a smashmouth, aggressive defensive team.... Something like "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin...
sllib olaffub
Yeah, I would rather have a losing record against the hardest schedule in the NFL, consequently be able to measure our own level of development, and get a good draft pick to help the cause, than to have the easiest schedule, make the playoffs because of it, and not be prepared for the tough competition once there, lose early, and have junk for draft position. If we win enough to get a wild-card with a really hard schedule, then going into the playoffs a team like that is dangerous (Green Bay is a great example - Baltimore, too, despite their loss). jumbalaya
Look, we sucked this year and will suck again next year. You should be used to it by now because we have sucked for ten tears. It doesn't matter if we have a difficult or easy schedule this team sucks. It is far better to have a difficult schedule and have a bad record and draft higher than to have an easy schedule and draft later in the first round. We are no better or worse than Seattle but we will never get to the top with 7-9 or 6-10 records.
