Hey its an excuse to watch football, all weekend. September 18th you get a trifecta... Add: Christian Ponder from FSU is also on TV the 18th so its a foursome Ryan Mallett: (9/18)Arkansas at Georgia 11:00 a.m. (ESPN) Jake Locker: (9/18)Nebraska at Washington 2:30 p.m. (ABC / ESPN2) Other TV dates (Washington V Stanford 10/30) (Vs UCLA Thursday 11/18 on ESPN) Andrew Luck: (9/18)Wake Forest at Stanford 10:15 p.m. (ESPN2) Other TV dates (9/25) against Notre Dame 2:30 PM start NBC (9/11) at UCLA 9:30 PM start ESPN (10/2) against Oregon 11:15 PM start (ESPN) (10/9) At USC 8 PM start (ABC) Christian Ponder: 9/18 BYU at Florida State 3:30PM start (ESPNU) Other TV dates 9/11 FSU at Oklahoma 3:30PM (ABC) 10/9 FSU at Miami (TBD but I assume will be primtime) 11/27 FSU vs Florida (TBD also assume will be primetime) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Senator Posted August 18, 2010 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Ryan Mallett May be the most interesting of the 3. Plays a pro-style offense under Bobby Petrino (who also coached Brian Brohm at Louisville). Seems a bit under-experienced and still has 2 years of eligibility left, leading me to wonder why he'd leave being starting QB, BMOC, and... THIS ...all behind to be a rookie in Buffalo. Jake Locker Seems to do as much with his feet as with his arm - that is, there seem to be as many (or more) hi-lites of Locker running out of trouble as there are of him throwing accurate passes. (Although, with our O-line, that could be a welcome and necessary asset for our starting QB.) Also, I believe Locker's already been drafted by MLB's Los Angeles Angels - I'd would be worried about him pulling an 'Elway' and refusing to come here if he's drafted by the Bills. Andrew Luck Plunkett & Elway aside, I have post-Trent Edwards reservations about Stanford QBs, plus Luck is only a junior with one year of playing experience.
