This makes for a nice pre-tailgate for Sunday's game vs GB. Which I will be at!

Ryan Mallett

May be the most interesting of the 3. Plays a pro-style offense under Bobby Petrino (who also coached Brian Brohm at Louisville). Seems a bit under-experienced and still has 2 years of eligibility left, leading me to wonder why he'd leave being starting QB, BMOC, and...

THIS

...all behind to be a rookie in Buffalo.

Jake Locker

Seems to do as much with his feet as with his arm - that is, there seem to be as many (or more) hi-lites of Locker running out of trouble as there are of him throwing accurate passes. (Although, with our O-line, that could be a welcome and necessary asset for our starting QB.) Also, I believe Locker's already been drafted by MLB's Los Angeles Angels - I'd would be worried about him pulling an 'Elway' and refusing to come here if he's drafted by the Bills.

Andrew Luck

Plunkett & Elway aside, I have post-Trent Edwards reservations about Stanford QBs, plus Luck is only a junior with one year of playing experience. On the plus-side, he makes no mention of Dakota Fanning (or any other 10-year-old) being his favorite actress.
