ntjacks79
Some regular season games would be sold to LA. Of course it would be for marketing puposes only. Expanding the marketing base is the key to keeping the Bills, at least that would be the organizational script. The owner would be at the podium announcing the transfer of these games with a shirt bottoned down to his navel and rambling about the wonderful weather and hot babes of LA and mocking the weather and poorly tanned girls of western NY. +
billsfan_34
We'd have traded our next 5 1st round picks for Big Ben along with 37 defensive backs. Wheres the "like button"?

SuperKillerRobots
If Russ Brandon was still running the show at One Bills Drive, I feel we would have traded for Vick and resigned Terrell Owens. In the draft, I still feel we would have taken Spiller. What do you think would have happened? Brandon holds the same power and position as he did last year. Make what you want out of that. Sisyphean Bills
Brandon holds the same power and position as he did last year. Make what you want out of that. Hunh? Brandon was COO/GM last year. Ralph was Owner/President. This past off-season, Brandon got promoted to CEO. Nix got promoted from "National Scout" to GM and put in charge of "everything on the football side". Here's the Cliff's Notes: Brandon was not totally uninvolved as some would like to have it. Ralph gave him more responsibility in other areas, but gave the football side of things to Nix. This was a 180 degree reversal from just 2 years ago when Ralph announced that he didn't think the organization needed a GM and he and his inner circle could get by just fine when Marv's cursory GM-ship ended. Spiderweb
Modrak ran the draft last year and this year, so no reason to believe there'd be any difference. Beyond Dick Jauron's insane personnel preference for college safeties at LBs and desire to stockpile DBs, the rest of this team is product of Tom Modrak's draft grades, as was this year's draft class. Modrak wanted 'roidhead Cushing, but he had Maybin ranked as his #1 pass rusher. Felt Orakpo took too many plays off. This year, he loved Spiller, which is eerily familiar to the time he felt we couldn't pass on McGahee at 23 overall. Two years ago, Modrak had McKelvin ranked highest on his board for CBs. He turned out to be the worst of the 3 CBs taken, although Talib is enough of a headcase that I can give him a pass for that one. Three years ago, Modrak gave Poz a mid-1st round grade. We had to give up a 3rd rounder to trade up to get him at 34. Of course, David Harris and LaMarr Woodley both turned out to be the better pros and both were available at our original pick. Modrak didn't invent the DB drafts for Buffalo, they've been doing it back to the days of JD Williams....

disco
This seems like an easy answer...if it was Brandon running the show we'd have taken Tebow at #9 - Gotta sell those tickets!
beerfriday
Brandon never ran the football side of the operation. +
