A quick search of him shows that he was (and his family) innvolved early on in textiles... Could that have been the cause? Or, do people just get that rare form of cancer??? Anyway... RIP. The band's surviving members have regrouped for periodic tours since 1996, but its official Web site still refers to McLaren as its "(mis)manager." McLaren went on to assemble the pop act Bow Wow Wow and record several albums of his own in the 1980s and '90s. Though the Sex Pistols took McLaren to court after their band split, Rotten issued a statement Thursday praising him. "For me, Malc was always entertaining, and I hope you remember that," Rotten said. "Above all else, he was an entertainer, and I will miss him, and so should you." People will only say good about somebody who dies, mostly. If McLaren was still alive and somebody asked Lydon about McLaren he'd have ripped him I'm pretty sure. This post was not slamming McLaren the least. Back in '83-'84, he worked with a group of artists called 'The Wolds Famous Supreme Team" -----Thats what I was jamming about above.
