Here's something for you guitar freaks to check out. RKS guitars makes some very unusual axes. All made in the USA.

The top of the line is the Dave Mason Signature model. (Dave Mason is a part owner of the company, it seems.):

Even in this huge band it really stands out, IMO (you have to make it past Kid Rock's horrible vocal turn before Dave starts playing a little):

The Mason model is $5k. But for those a little more frugal, they make a pretty flippy intro level model called The Wave for under $1K:

Good stuff Deano.

That guitar looks better on than off. Sounds pretty good too.

btw, how many guitars are on that stage? 10? I guess they tell them to set volume on "1" or something except for the lead guy.

btw, here's some more trivia for you. Paul Reed Smith talking about his experience with Ted McCarty, President of Gibson Guitars during hthe 50's and 60's when they made arguably the best electrics ever.

Just popped this up.

Definitely not best way to showcase this axe because undistorted won't capture vintage sound. But worse I am using a cheap solid state amp on very low volume. Will put up others soon enough, but this is what I have for now:

Nice job, Joe. I left a comment.

Can't wait til you let her loose.

On another note, I think it may be time for a manzier. (I'm one to talk.)

LOL ... thanks for that "comment." But I promise you it's the way I'm sitting hunched on that chair so the camera could pickup the guitar + the tight Patagonia undergear Ii'm wearing. Phil Mickelson would be glad to swap "manzier" size with me any day!!

Pretty slick fingering but let's hear that baby scream some.

Here's one with some distrotion ... "kicking the baby" around some ... might be more to your guys liking (sound quality still poor though for same reasons.)

Better than clean solo. Guitar sounds ok, it's the background that's bad. Why not just put up a vid with the guitar alone demonstrating different pickup combinations?
