I like this mock draft especially if the Bills can address ILB, QB, and WR in free agency. Wooten is a beast (6-7 280)and can rush passer from the 3-4 DE position. Didnt know much about Lane but looks impressive @ 6-6 265. Snead has all the physical tools to succeed. Cooper is a steal in the 6th.

9.) BUF-- Bruce Campbell, OT

Breath easy, Bills fans. Tim Tebow has dropped from this spot. I think the Bills will look to add a quarterback at some point, but there are a few intriguing middle round prospects that would allow them to address one of their greatest needs here. Yes, there are plenty of holes in the front seven now that the 3-4 is posh in Buffalo, but there a few pieces to work with (Marcus Stroud, Aaron Maybin, Paul Posluszny ). The need I’m talking about is at offensive tackle. I’m willing to be that there are only a handful of QBs in the entire league that could play well behind the current tackles. Campbell comes with an injury history, but he’s as physically gifted as any OT in this class, and could pan out well as a longtime LT for the Bills.

9 (41). BUF-- Corey Wooten, DE

If the Bills want to make a successful transition to the 3-4, they’ll learn from Denver’s mistake. You have to have youth and talent up front. Without Wootton, Buffalo is light on both.

8 (72). BUF — Austen Lane, OLB, Murray State

He a great athlete that can probably start soon opposite Aaron Maybin in the new 3-4. If not, he might be able to bulk up and play down. Just a good piece for the transition.

9 (104). BUF — Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss

He’s nowhere near the first round pick I predicted he’d be before the season (good call on that one, dumbass), but he does have all the physical tools to play in Buffalo. Chan Gailey needs to get his guy in this draft.

9 (136). BUF — Linval Joseph, NT, East Carolina

The Bills are going to have to find a plug for the middle of the new 3-4, assuming Marcus Stroud can’t do it. He might fit better on the outside anyway. Joseph has the size, but is a bit of a project.

9 (168). BUF — Riley Cooper, WR, Florida

Maybe Buffalo doesn’t wait this long to address the WR spot. But they will at some point considering TO and Josh Reed will likely be gone in 2010. Cooper is good value here and could surprise.

23 (182). BUF — Ryan D’Imperio, ILB, Rutgers

He’s a tough, blue collar, guy that seems to be a good fit for Chan Gailey. He can play inside in the 3-4, and might end up a pleasant surprise after such a productive college career. They need to make sure they have plenty of pieces for the transition.

2 (193). BUF — Adrian Tracy, OLB, William and Mary

The Bills hope that Aaron Maybin can become great in the 3-4, but it’s not a sure thing. Tracy is a great gamble in the seventh, and was ultra-productive in college.

9 (200). BUF — Chris Marinelli, OT, Stanford

No reason not to add more competition and depth at the offensive tackle spot.

This dude has sucked every time I watched him, and seemingly plays worse the better the competition gets. No thanks. This is JP junior in the making.

My dream draft would be:

DE Carlos Dunlap (Florida), NT Terrance Cody (Alabama), QB Jevan Snead (Ole Miss) and call it a day.

I think we would be better served by addressing our LT position via free agency just to get us through the season.

Maybe give Chad Clifton or Levi Jones shot - both are UFA - or try to work out a trade for a Marcus McNeil (Unlikely), Jeremy Trueblood or Alex Barron.

I would vomit in my mouth if we drafted Cambell at 9. The only pick that is somewhat respectable is Wooten..but not even that really.

Hes the 3rd or 4th rated OT. Tackle is notoriously a position that teams will "reach" on. Why would he be such a terrible pick??

Because we have the 9th pick in the draft. You really want to draft the 3rd or 4th best OT (not player) with the ninth pick in the draft? That's not reaching, that's called setting your franchise back 5 years.

If you really want Cambpell, you trade down. If you can't trade down, then you simply draft another player. At the end of the day, Campbell is probably not much better than Fox from Miami who was team captain of the Canes and started 3 years at LT and helped turn that program around. There's plenty of OTs in this draft without having to reach for one with our top 10 selection

Watched a lot of Mississippi games this year and Snead was the worse college QB I've ever seen. He is as inaccurate as

a blind man pissing in a toilet.

That is correct. In the recent ESPN passing contest, for distance, Snead missed the FIELD. Not the target. The FIELD. Putting it in the rough is sometimes excusable in golf, not football.

Instead of Snead at 4 I'd go for LeFevour, or else take

Jamar Chaney, ILB, Mississippi State

Age is starting to become a real factor for the Steelers on the inside of the 3-4. Chaney is a tough, hard-nosed guy who fits like a glove.

Hell...if we're going to go 3-4 we gotta get the personnel who can play it.
