dave mcbride Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 did anyone else notice they drafted Dexter Coakley as a DB? he ended up a really solid, probowl linebacker... interesting. flozell adams, ekuban and ellis were all excellent hits. i'd like to see buddy and chan draft on either side of the line this year and next. if there is a next.... Well, in fairness, he was let go just a couple of weeks before the season started. Teams around the league pretty much have their systems, packages, etc set by then. Also he wasn't let go by KC because of his coaching abilities. It was a matter of Haley (a former OC) wanting to run his own offense. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Never mind.....I guess this is a useless post. Just trying to grasp at straws in terms of feeling good about the situation. It might not be ideal, but it can't be worse than Levy/Jauron, and this should count for something, no? his drafts in 2007 and 2008 were very good they got many very good players!
