  1. This is a Bills' fan board. You actually need to watch the games to be a fan. If you think McGee played at an elite level last year and you actually watched the games you must've been mistaken on who McGee is.
  2. I don't get why people say that. Even if he had played 0 games, hes still a very good player, and that's all that matters. Right?
  3. HAHAHAHAHAHA I personally attended the game where Vince Young fully dismantled us by himself, when we we mathematically needed to win the game to make the playoffs. Therefore I actually did watch the games myself, and I doubt anyone who was at/watched that game would disagree with him being one of the top 50 players in the league. But hey, maybe I am actually basing this on hype, considering I'm a Jauron hater, #1 supporter that Crowell is overrated, and I still think Losman's good. And about your Vick statement, your dead wrong. Nobody ever claimed he was the best prototype QB ever. Knock on him all you want because of his spirals, but in the offense he was in, who gives a sh--? The quartback's job is to move the ball down the field, whether it be throwing spirals or running. I would take Vick's running in his prime over most spiral-throwers.
  4. My ideas for this season: Offensively: Reed has a huge year by 3rd wr standards(800-900 yards) Fowler sucks terribly Evans disappoints again(not because of him but because of trent and jauron) Hardy steps right in and does well(but seemingly never gets used to his potential) Marshawn does about what he did last year, maybe a few more highlight reel runs Trent either pisses some of us off for being too conservative, or turns into a 25-30 td qb Defensively: Stroud does a good job but doesn't seem like a saint Spencer Johnson looks like an all pro, cutting through the line at some key times Kawika Mitchell is solid and clutch Crowell misses some key tackles Posuluszny is all over the field, makes a lot of tackles near the line of scrimmage Ko and Donte look like a veteran pair of safeties, cover both deep sidelines really well Greer does better than expected Random visions: McKelvin with one Cromartie-like return that makes us all cream ourselves, Whitner with a huge sack late in some 4th quarter, and Jauron openly admitting he does in fact have a vagina.
  5. My thoughts: Peterson is low at 15 Kevin Williams is way too high at 10(tommie harris is 36 and williams is 10????) Roethlisbergers a little high at 17 Woodson shouldnt be anywhere near 18 Westbrook is much better than 20(ask any GM if theyd rather have westbrook or woodson and theyd laugh very very hard) Gates needs to be higher(hes 24 and jared allen is 12?) Urlacher and Jackson got screwed at 33-34, both should be top 15 Welker shouldnt be on there, or taylor Cromartie, Polamalu, Houshmandzadeh, Vince Young, and Anquan Boldin absolutely needed to be on that list. Also, not to sound like a homer, but Whitner needs to be in consideration too. The guy means everything to our defense. Whoever mentioned Crowell mustve been kidding. The guy is barely a top 50 player in our division.
  6. Exactly. Jauron's conservativeness killed us, not the fact we had 3rd and 4th stringers in...
  7. I've been asking this question to everyone who says that, so here you go: Did the Cowboys, Browns, and Broncos losses have more to do with Jauron's vagine coaching strategies or with the 3rd/4th string players? How about the dolphins away game, jets home game, and redskins game as well?
  8. I hear all the time that one of Dick jauron's best strengths is that he gets the players to show up every week. Shouldn't that be an expectation???? I dont get how that is a strength of a coach. I want a guy who can coach a damn football game. If he can get us winning, the guys will want to play on their own. I guess all I'm trying to say is that I dont get why people think its really supporting a coach when they say that he gets a lot out of his players. Every coach of a decent team does. Tony Dungy and Bill Belichick dont get credit for that, simply because they can figure out how to move the ball and stop the other team from moving the ball. Jauron should learn how to do those kinds of things.
  9. Steve Fairchild and Dick Jauron. I'll accept cash or check.
  10. Did you play high school football? Friday Night Lights the movie(as opposed to the show) is awesome and pretty much every football player ive ever talked to agrees 100%. As for grandmas boy, you either love it or hate it and i could see how you could be a hater.
  11. No Country for old men Fight Club Friday Night Lights Grandma's Boy Rounders I feel like I'm forgetting some but those are the ones that came to mind right away.
  12. It lists Spencer Johnson as starting at RDT over John McCargo. I doubt it is by accident. I definitely wouldnt mind if Johnson actually is that good, but I do think McCargo is a very good player and it will take a beast to take his spot. http://www.buffalobills.com/depth_chart/index.html Thoughts?
  13. What leads anyone to believe McGee is the better cb than Greer? Can anyone picture one good, ballhawking moment McGee has ever had?? So many people are reliant on names over actually watching them play...
  14. Who's better? Greer. Who's probably going to start because of politics? McGee. You asked 2 different questions so I answered both.
  15. That story sucked. The guy seems to think hes groundbreaking, but he's not. We all know that teams do pass a lot, as well as the fact missed fgs are bad. And believe it or not, we all knew that cbs cant do anything without a rush. This isn't meant to be a shot at the original poster, I'm just saying.
  16. Pacman Jones and Chris Henry are 2 of over 1500 NFL players. I'll take my odds that he doesn't get suspended.
  17. Is pretty much the objective of football. I dont really care what the Bills do at their BBQs, I just care if they win their football games or not. Go ahead and compare Sweed and Hardy, and talk about how you'd rather have Sweed, but I don't give a sh-- about their family bbq events. If Hardy scores TD's, then why does anyone care what he does at his picnics?
  18. There are no possible humor comparisons. I dont think I've ever laughed so hard at words on a screen. Bravo.
  19. No argument on those games. I guess I did lie about the whole show me one game theory. I just kind of get fired up when people blame things on the personnel, because I think that coaching is the main problem. Off on a tangent, I didn't really see whitner bitching at anyone, but I'm glad to hear that. Nobody on this team ever shows any sort of leadership or toughness it seems. If Whitner wasnt around, our team would be so much softer. Nobody on this team ever really seems badass, besides Whitner and Marshawn.
  20. The Pats game was different. Nobody showed up. But we werent really that horrible in coverage the rest of the year. I never really saw a guy pull a double move on a corner or anything, they pretty much just found soft spots(which is what happens in zone defenses.) It really sucks for you that you flew here to watch that game, though. I live in Hamburg and kind of regretted making the trip.
  21. EXACTLY. Its not the players that were the problem with the Bills last year, its the way that they were used, which is what is keeping me from being too optimistic for this year. But if they get any sort of production out of these players, then they should be okay. Of course JP is going to look sh------- if you dont let him throw the ball deep or anything, just like how Vince Young would look like sh-- in a west coast offense. Imagine Carson Palmer playing for the WVU Mountaineers last year, it just wouldnt work. But hey, keep bashing JP for not being good enough at the vagina offense Jauron/Fairchild employ.
  22. You didnt watch the games apparently. I know it says a lot for me to call out somebody when this is only my 5th post ever, but you just simply arent a Bills fan. Send me a tape of any Bills game this year, and if you can find me one game where Greer/McGee cut the wrong way twice combined on 3rd down I will wear a dolphins jersey or something. It happened about 500 times a game where the middle of the zone was wide open. Personal CB mistakes rarely happened. Really, look through the tapes man.
  23. Thanks. I'll be around more in the future.
  24. Haha no. We went our seperate ways. I took off in my mom's minivan with my sister, and he took off solo in his Escalade.
