Ravens vs 49ers. Ravens were blowing out the 49ers in the Superbowl, then suddenly the lights go out?

I wonder if his table jumping on draft night tweaked his back. How Billsy would that be?
That would be up there with the Gus Frerotte headbutt.

That (tying together threads) is the real achilles heel of Beane's OL builds. It's not that he doesn't put resources into the line. He has - maybe not as many high picks as folks would like, but OL is hard to scout these days so there's an argument to be made for picking up guys who have put down some NFL tape.
But there are two errors with a draft pick. One is giving up too early (analogous to Type I error in statistics. rejection of actually true null hypothesis) The other is giving them too many chances and too much time (analogous to Type II error, accepting an actually false null hypothesis).
When it comes to Cody Ford and now maybe Spencer Brown, Beane has been a Type II guy.
Brown reminds me of Torell Troup. Troup looked good early on with the Bills, but had a bad back injury which derailed his career. I’m hoping Brown will be able to fully recover and have a solid career as a RT for the Bills, but the reports so far in this year’s camp are worrisome.

I'm about done with Shakir at this point. You can't have below average physical gifts and below average hands and still be successful in this league. Allen has had too many incredible plays dropped by his pass catchers since he was a rookie. I'm so over it.
I never had high hopes for Shakir, mainly with him being drafted in the 5th round. At those lower levels of the draft, it’s an even higher gamble that these players will work out.

Way too early for the offseason hype train. Let’s see how Davis is doing in the season half of the season before giving him tons of praise. If the Bills start bringing in FA WR’s again in November/December, then all this offseason hype is for nothing.

I don’t know who Nathan Peterson is, but I bet that even he would be a better option at QB than Nathan Peterman!😀
😂🤣 I corrected it, don’t know why I was thinking Peterson 😂

Not disagreeing…..Hurney/ Gettlemen /Newton
Same thing every single year. Winning training camp is just the last step of winning the off season. Tuel 😞
This is year six and Josh can’t be the leading rusher again.
Trent Edwards, Nathan Peterman and Keith Ellison all come to mind of players that looked great in August, but disappeared in the regular season.

Every year, there are players that look good before the pads come on, then disappear after the pads come on. Also, there are some players that look great in TC/Pre-season, but bomb out in the regular season. Curious to see who’s the real deal, and who are the pretenders.

Shakir's dropsies are concerning to say the least.
Dude better get his head and hand-eye coordination in place.
There’s a reason why Shakir dropped to the 5th round of the draft. The high expectations around him by fans have been ridiculous!

Not actually Astro today as he wasn’t able to get a ticket for TC today. Astro’s friend, Joe, filled in nicely today with a good TC report:

Thanks for the camp report! Much appreciated from an out-of-state Bills fan.
Hoping to see improvements on offense (outside of Allen and Diggs) this season. Liked the early reports from the new WR’s and Kincaid.

Yup, I'm in the DC area and while the joy here is palpable, they still have a lot of problems.
Same here. I’m sure the new owners will try to improve the game day experience for the fans immediately, but the on field product is going to take a while. I don’t expect to see any real personnel changes until the offseason.

sounds about right. Wrong person saw his tag one day and it got back to Danny.
I’d shake that man’s hand right now if I could.
fail that hard and still turn a tidy 700% profit. Must be nice. Ah well today is still a good day.I’m sure the NFL and the 31 owners were happy to get rid of Synder, no matter the cost of the team sale.
