Ok, I think before the end of the year or shortly after it ends, Buddy will tell Chan he needs to fire Wanny. My guess is that Chan wouldn't have any problem with firing his friend but will decide that he's just not the man for the job. I'm thinking a resignation is in order, not a firing. JMO.
I really hope not as they would promote Wanstache to HC. That's how we ended up w NIx as GM. Nice pattern!

Wanny and the paper Stalwarts?
Or
Stache and his Adjustments
-
No one said cry, scream, or pray for a hockey season?
-
Please, please no extension for Gailey during the bye week.
LOL. But yeah please no extension. Or promote wanstache

This efense is more difficult to watch than djauron's!

All I want -- seriously -- is for the Bills' defense to show some aggression, fire, and urgency. Who is the leader to step up and hold these players accountable? I don't want a "workmanlike" defense -- I want them to play like their jobs depend upon it.
Couldn't agree more.
Also stop with the excuses (my wrist is sore, the ingrown hair on my arse burns, my paper cut itches...). Just hit someone in the mouth, this is football and you play DEFENSE!

How soon before the 1st idiot says "I'd give up a 4th for Cassell...Get'r done Buddy" ?
-
It's only been 12+ years of bad football. No reason to think those 2 ugly losses to division rivals means anything.
Plus Gailey said he is OKAY w Stache's game plan? Well that's really good news.
-
I can't believe no one has mentioned the Stache! You KNOW RW likes to promote from within. Plus Wanstache did such a bang up job in his previous stops and the current D is playing ok.

I'd worry more about why your wife is smiling
THIS! You might have bigger problems than being a BIlls fan.

From Tim Graham's Press Coverage Blog Post:
"The Browns are arguably the best 0-2 team in the league. They're three plays away from being 2-0. They could have beaten Philly and could have won last week against the Bengals. They've lost by a combined eight points in two weeks. "That's what the betting public is looking at right now."
And here's the type of Vegas analysis we hope to deliver in this series:
Teams that start a season 0-2 are 80-57-1 in Week Three against the spread, a .584 win percentage.
"If you base your betting on that kind of success, you have a pretty profitable bankroll," Staniszewski said.
The win percentage goes up to .642 when betting only the 0-2 underdogs.
For the record, Sunday's over/under total is 43 1/2.
The last time the Bills were road favorites was Week Four last year. The Cincinnati Bengals were 3-point underdogs and won outright, 23-20.
Keep in mind also that it's been 8 games and counting and over one calendar year since the Bills won a road game.
Gold Jerry,Gold!!
Lets hope this trend doesn't continue.

Good luck to them this week in New Orleans and they're 0-2 also. Ouch! He may kill himself.

I don't get your point. You have paid your dues as a Bills fan. Are you still a fan? Could you quit being a fan if you wanted to? If you can't, then that's my point. I think we're on the same page.
I'm starting to think that I could stop caring for this organization. As someone said earleir, i too am starting to think about a soft landing ( I hope not, but its been long enough) How much $ and time is enough. I think there could be life outside my living room on Sunday's.

I was married to wife #1, on #2 now (never been divorced though)
Got my MBA.
Had a wicked cool goatee (wife #2 hates the facial hair)
Had less hair on my back, more on my head.
Wasn't as cynical then.

That sucks for him and the Bills. At least TE's are easy to replace.
-
I think the Colts go after Revis. I think the Jets are fed up the money issue every year. Wouldn't that be a nice xmas present in August for Stevie and the Bills.
Just my off the wall .02 cents.

Tim Teebow is a nice pick, But Cam Newton is bigger, faster and a better QB. So i'll take 53 of him everytime.
-
I thought it was interesting to read scouts thought that Glenn was soft and wouldn't live up to his potential (1st i've heard/seen of this). I hope he proves them all wrong.
Atleast they didn't call him Fitzgerald.

For me, it would have to be Levy, Kelly, Smith, and Reed. I'd have to go with guys from the 4 straight superbowls.
Just my 2 cents but I think Thurman Thomas was more important than Reed.

Who is in your Top 10?
I would have to put Belichick in there. Probably Theismann too.
My top 10. There are some bad human beings on this list.
1) Rae Carruth
2) OJ Simpson
3) Vick
4) Ray Lewis
5) Pacman
6) Travis Henry
7) Greggo Williams
8) Bellicheat
9) Rothlisraper
10)too many to choose from

In April, I got the Bills @ 50-1, Titans @ 50-1 and Lions @ 16-1. I really wanted the Texans but they were down to 8-1 and I won't bet at less than 15-1. I almost put money on Cincy but I don't trust Dalton & Green with the sophmore slump.

I noticed in the thread about where are you now that there are a lot of us down here between Ft. Lauderdale, Davie, Miami Lakes, etc. Although my kids still go the Dolphin game every year, I don't anymore as there are two games I can watch on t.v. at home every year, up there and down here. The rest of the games we have been watching at the Flanigans in Weston,($1.50 for Coors Light), for close to 15 years. We have a group that was as big as 20 back in the 90's, to 3-4 in the past few years as some were fair whether fans and some were kids who went away to college and now are coming back home.
My idea is, why don't we all get together this year and watch a game together? I'm sure we can find a sports bar that's centrally located for all of us and maybe get together and watch a game with fellow sufferers. Not necessarily a Bills Backers Club but maybe an informal gathering of extremely intelligent Football fans, who also happen to be masochists, to have some beers and comiserate while watching the team that consumes us.
Anyway, if there is any interest let me know, (pm me), and I'll try to organize a meeting for the game. Also, any guys that are coming down for the Miami game maybe we can get together for some beers, a kind of a night before the game at the Inn, (what's the name of the Inn in Orchard Park) where everybody meets before the game that TBD gets together for each year.
Anyway it's jusr a thought since there are a number of us down here and maybe it would be nice to get together and have some beers watching the Bills.
I have been known to frequent that Flanigan's. I do like to sit in recliner on Sunday but I could be enticed if we got a good turn out.
(Also Baddad, I pm'ed you about your response in another thread)

If the League is serious about reducing concussions it needs to mandate all players wear Helmets that have padding on the outside as well as the inside like Mark Kelso used to wear.
I think the padding should be much thicker than he had and of a medium density so that there is a lot of give to it. Imagine to marshmallows coming together, it would be practically impossible to get a concussion with helmets like that. They may look retarded at first but huge shoulder pads probably looked funny too. They can come up with all these new helmets they want but until they cover the hard shell exterior of today's helmets, concussions will likely continue.
Here is an another article from a few years ago w Kelso and Wallace:
I can;t believe we haven't seen this since the 90's. its been almost 20 years.
Also it might help to make HGH blood tests mandatory. It can't be good that most players are walking around with 20+ lbs of muscle on their frames. It makes the hit more violent.

My mother in law (back in the day as a gag) got me a box of his flakes. I didn't have the heart to tell her he might have been my least favorite Bill of all time.
