  1. I don't know if it needs it own thread, but it was awesome listening to Fitz during the game. The guy gets fired up, congratulates the opposing team on a good hit, gets his teammates amped, makes blocks downfield, etc. I can on;y imagine what Trent was like. It makes TO's comments regarding Fitz that more clear. How was he not the starter long ago? Are we that bad at evaluating talent? With picks like Maybin and McCargo I'd say the answer is yes. Modrak has to go
  2. How do you know? Link?
  3. Merriman wasn't even present at practice today. Could this mean he's done, or maybe he was just in the training room? Is it odd that a new player wouldn't even be present?
  4. Not saying I don't believe you heard this news from somebody, but any type of tear occurring in the achilles could put a person out for much longer than 6-8 weeks. If it is a tear in the achilles he's done for almost a year if not more. This coaching staff seemed to make it seem like it wasn't major. I could be wrong though
  5. I watched Inside the NFL and Cutler was miked up. He talked avout our defense saying that we were legit, the secondary was good, and we had playmakers. He said our front four was essentially a joke and if we actually had a puss rusher we'd be pretty good. WE NEED A PASS RUSHER. F Maybin!!! I'm sick of our putrid drafting. Anyone else see this?
  6. If som you think we will make a run at them. Would help immensely at key positions
  7. Romo isn't the problem
  8. He really seems to have some huge mental lapses out there, but without a pass rush the DB's will struggle. Cover 2, unfortunately, is better suited to this team rather man to man without a pass rush. It is frustrating to see McKelvin make the same mistakes he made his rookie year. Both Brandon Flowers and Aqib Talib have been excellent. In fact, Flowers is holding WR's he covers to less yards than Revis did in his record breaking effort last year
  9. we win, plain and simple. AND he dropped another more difficult pick in the endzone as well. These DB"s look like they are trying to drop the ball. Whitner against the Ravens, Wilson against KC and now Scott against the Bears. Unreal...
  10. I thought he was just traveling with the team and not dressing. Am I wrong?
  11. I've looked all over the internet. Nothing live
  12. Maybe a TV channel or something, or at least the ability to listen in?
  13. for all those who wondered. http://plixi.com/p/55326053 sorry if already posted
  14. thanks for the thoughtful response. also, if you're gonna make fun of someones spelling, make sure you know what you are correcting. If I had meant to type shouldn't, there would be the letter 'h' in there as well the 's' you so kindly mentioned in your post. What I had meant to write was wouldn't. So I forgot the W in wouldn't....twit
  15. I know its a long shot, but it could be an option for us next year if he plays well. He wouldnt like it most likely, but if we show some signs of life down the stretch maybe he ouldn't be as opposed to it
  16. I know he wouldn't like it, but if that's a way to keep him, that's an option for us
  17. He basically says that while we need a stud defensive lineman or two stud offensive lineman, that if a franchise QB is there, no matter how well Fitz plays this year, that we have to take him. He says if we can draft a guy to build arond for a decade, that we need to do it, whether we have glaring needs elsewhere or not. I kind of agree with him, but I do think that if we actually had a pass rush we might have some wins.
  18. from Chris Brown Baltimore safety Ed Reed was phenomenal in his return to the Ravens lineup Sunday with three takeaways, but he was also impressed with what Buffalo’s offense put out on the field and thought the Bills probably should have wound up with the ‘W’. “Five hundred and five yards, yes it was a surprise,” said Reed. ”I knew it was an explosive offense. We gave up a lot of plays, I don’t know what for. They’re professionals too. At the end of the day, the ‘W’ that’s what counts. Hats off to those guys, they fought hard. They probably should’ve won, but we’ve got a good team over here, too.” Reed’s teammate Terrell Suggs echoed some of Reed’s comments. “That’s a tough football team and a tough football game, and I take my hat off to the Buffalo Bills,” Suggs said. ”They came here to win, and there were times where they should’ve won. Remember, that’s the same team that put 30 up on New England. They’re a great offensive group. Those two backs (Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller), I wasn’t a believer coming into the game, but I’m a believer now. They made some plays and broke some tackles. I’ve never seen backs do it like that on us.” Yeah the Bills did not get the win, but they got some well deserved respect from one of the better defenses in football.
  19. I don't get it. Carrington was our 3rd round pick. Has he been hurt? He can't even make the field. And Maybin may be the worst 1st rounder of all time
  20. I'm a little worried about the Bills drafting a QB if we don't have a sufficient line to protect him for a few years. It could retard his growth and prevent him from maturing. I feel like you always build from the lines out
  21. I thought they said he was improving? Not a big loss but man our LB core is awful
  22. It depends on the severity. I have a partially torn labrum and rotator cuff and haven't gotten surgery for over a few years. It bothers me after throwing for a while and if I get hit playing basketball. I'm imagining his is much more severe on top of the fact he plays in the NFL. For a linebacker it might hurt trying to raise his arm for a pick or making a tackle, but I think he could play through it. Obviously a QB would be out, but a WR and RB would take a hit as well. LB is probably the position you could get away with it easiest
  23. I remember reading somewhere that Schobel said that down the road if the Bills needed him he might consider playing and helping out. I know we are going nowhere this year but at least I'd like to see them be competitive. He's better than anything we've got out there now
  24. RB Andre Anderson who couldn't make the Browns or Raiders! Rejoice!
