  1. On the up side, Hill'ry is out of NYS, and, if we're really lucky, out of the country for extended periods of time. On the negative side, the Clintons reprise their national scam once again. Do you think Obama embraced the dictum: Keep your friends close, your enemies closer?
  2. Very soon the Dems will have both the reins in their hands and the bit in their teeth; so there will be no one else to blame if the train goes off the rails.... Right?
  3. Hill'ry couldn't find her ass with a road map! The only way she "knows" international leaders is due to her years of hosting White House dinners and attending state funerals. List for me the names of the arab leaders who will seriously negotiate with a white woman who lost the nomination, carrys the baggage of a cuckolding husband and gets off on self-aggrandisement.
  4. I don't see it as bandwagon jumping. I feel fans give a lot to the Bills in terms of hard-earned $'s by way of tickets, jerseys, and other tangible items as well as loads of intangibles such as vocal support, team loyalty, etc. When the organization doesn't deliver, I think it is perfectly acceptable to question, express dismay, even turn your back for a period of time. It's like a lot of things in life; if you misuse my trust, you'll have to earn it back over time. And I won't be happy with you in the interim period.
  5. So, I'm thinkin' maybe Al Gore for Michelin Man replacement in the new Administration...full of hot air (not to mention himself), casts a shadow larger than any real influence, and perfect full-time smiley face. All the gravitas of a ham sandwich....
  6. OK, OK, but isn't Al Gore more of the same; same old, same old, rather than a symbol of "change?" When I think of change, I think of something different than occurred before; something unique--proposed, planned and implemented by a new face. After all, if you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.... Don't tell me about Hill'ry, Bill Richardson, Rahm, John Kerry, etc. I want to see what Larry from Dubuque can do for us; and if he can't do anything, toss him out and try Linda from Sioux Falls.
  7. Fellas, fellas...that's the POINT. To date, female SecStates don't appear to have generated any real significant movement. So, we're gearing up to do it again? Huh, imagine that!
  8. So, is it fair to say the SecState will be dealing with Arab states, and Muslims in general, for many years to come regarding substantive issues? Do we yet have a clue about the status of women in such states/cultures? Are we, again, going to ignore world cultural reality to satisfy our local political objectives? Why "throw" a woman in the faces of those with little regard for women outside of the home? Do you hire a butcher to wire your house? I'm just sayin'....
  9. Big Cat,referencing the two words under your avitar: Do they mean you aren't one, or that you ain't gettin' any? No offense, but I just couldn't resist.
  10. I'm with Erik...NYS resident, Hillary "disliker." Interesting that "change" now means a reprise of the Clinton era. Hopefully, soon, it may really mean something different than same old same old.
  11. Same here.... I have zero confidence in either major candidate. Neither commands a broad skill set for the job at hand, nor a breadth of task maturity. Most of Congress will be returned to office, and we all know how keenly incisive the Dems have been with their majority in the House. Barack, Nancy, and Harry do not call forth faith, confidence, nor a sense of well-being. If Dems pull off the trifecta, there will be a Rep in the Oval Office in 2013...and we'll be back to same old, same old.
  12. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but IF she had an affair, she has locked up at least one of the major criteria to be President...given Bill Clinton's history....
  13. Or maybe she's just as arrogant, self-centered, and venal as many of us New Yorkers think she is.... May she and Billy-guy just go away and torment each other over what might have been....
  14. I wouldn't &@$$ down her throat if her stomach was on fire!
  15. Note to BlueFire: Using the words Honestly and Hillary in the same post sets up an irreconcilable oxymoron....
  16. Thankfully he didn't have to go by ambulance across that bridge in Chappaquidick....
  17. Fat-thighed, bug-eyed, lyin' B word...but who's noticing? She's still dancing around her campaign promise to NYer's about 200,000 new jobs; most recently by promising new jobs to North Carolinians if she gets elected. Hill'ry and Slick Willy (no pun intended) are poster children for what's evil in politics in the US of A,
  18. I've heard that if Al Gore is actually the compromise Dem candidate, he won't have time to be POTUS and take care of the Internet, too. So, we suffer on both fronts!
  19. No matter what happens, puhleeeeeze don't let anything happen to the Democratic Party! It is the party that simply loves to collect arrogant, crude, un-truthful candidates...and we need them all together so they are easier to identify....
  20. Damn McVeigh...just another wacko left winger with an agenda. No, wait, just another righter-than-right conservative who hated the 20th Century. Nah, maybe just a mixed up kid.... No, now I see it clearly--we have no real idea what made him tick.
  21. So...Truman's droppin' those two bombs in 1945 was an olive branch....?
  22. Poor Jimmy.... Just go work with Habitat for Humanity and try to forget 1600 PA Avenue and all that flowed thereafter.
  23. Actually, they need the cell space just in case former Governor of NYS Eliot Spitzer is convicted of financial misdeeds related to his setting up blind accounts and moving money contrary to the law, etc. Uh huh, that's gonna happen as soon as the tooth fairy gets back from "his" latest pillow run....
  24. 95% of the outstanding mortgages are currently paid per agreed-upon schedule. Why do I want to even consider supporting a bail-out for the irresponsible property owners within the other 5%? Aren't the traditional fail-safe mechanisms still in place for the few who truly need mortgage assistance?
