  1. It taes a village to lie as often as Hill'ry....
  2. Hill'ry's depiction of landing in the Balkans is quite the parallel to her "landing" in New York State...she never quite told the truth here either.
  3. Maybe it is as simple as the arrogance of power....?
  4. Gotta agree...Reynolds was a snake oil salesman. I had some dealings with him prior to my retirement, and he was the quintessential politician; glad hand you to death until someone with more clout came upon the scene. My problem is that I don't for a minute believe that whomever succeeds TR will be any different. Promises, poking holes in the incumbent and grand rhetoric seem to wear well during the run up to the election; however, once the di is cast, the "same old same old" invariably appears. The next guy will soon be as bad as the last guy in terms of empty promises, scandals, and general focus on maintaining his congressional seat at the expense of taking truly independent positions and making hard decisions. "If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got."
  5. If we can all just hold on until January 21, 2009 all will be made right by President Clinton. She will export from NYS to the nation the spectacularly successful economic polcies she devised, incubated, then implemented to solve all of our fiscal problems here in The Empire State, and in particularly the incisive strategies she developed to encourage job growth in Western New York. Uh huh....
  6. All of a sudden I was unable to log on, posts were lost, etc. I've sent PMs to several administrators, but had no replies. Does anyone know what happened; have any idea why "old" log-in names, passwords, etc. are not accepted now?
  7. I've used NetZero for years. Yeah, it is dial-up; OK, it's slow, but I only use it to surf and get email--no games, nor music downloads. It is fine for what I need, cheap and works well for what I expect.
