Tom Brady is the best quarterback ever. Screw the Pats as a team, but enjoy greatness. It doesn't come around often.

When did Sheryl Crow become a lunch lady?!?! I bet Lance is to blame.
-
-
There are no such thing as hot lunch ladies so I call BS.

Just saw The Wolf of Wall Street. Very, very good. One of the more entertaining films I've seen in a quite a while. 3 hours long, so make sure you've cleared part of your day!

that can't hold a candle to Jimi's cover and is blaspheme IMO-
Jimi's is probably the best, but I think DMB's version is better than Dylan's. Plus, everyone has already heard Jimi's, but maybe not DMB's.

Dave Matthews Band does a great rendition of All Along The Watchtower.

Ha. Teens smoking and drinking. Its always going to be going on. There are kids who smoke and kids who are potheads. There is a difference.
I'd much rather have a good beer before I'd think of lighting a joint. Much safer to drink beer
No it isn't.

American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street both look really, really good. Anchorman 2 is also a must-see, of course.

He just let him live. That was a pretty thoughtful present.
Although the Carruth situation was obviously horrible, this made me laugh.

Just wrapped up season 4.
Excellent and Eli is the man. Gonna get his gangsta on in Chi-town ?
Kill narcisse already, agree with both of you on Rothstein and Van Alden.
Give me less Margaret and Jillian and more Meyer and Luciano.
Great finale.
Yes! Agree 100%. I am very interested to see where they go with those two characters next season.

I still say that Shake up your happiness by Train deserves to be right up there at the top
Oh my God. I was wondering who sang that abomination. This is Bottom-3 for sure. They should be shot for making that song.

I thought it was an interesting artice, and t didn't strike me as being anti-Buffalo in the least.
Me either. And I am always quick to jump at anything I feel is remotely anti-Buffalo. I thought it was very interesting. A shame for both of those families. Lord knows this type of thing could have happened to many, including myself, at one game or another over the years. Back when I was 17-21, I loved getting wrecked at games, as did most everyone that I attended games with. Now that I'm in my mid-20's, I still have my fair share of beers, but would much rather be able to enjoy and analyze the entire game rather than treating as an all-day party. I like it much better this way.

Eh, I'm pretty sure we could step up if this happened again, in fact I know it. There's a whole bunch of late 20's/early 30's guys and girls with 12 years experience in the Army crawling all over my town (Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville, NC). They all joined after 9/11.
We could, and we would. That said, what the American troops did in WW II in response to those attacks 72 years ago today is and was an incredible feat.

I have always loved Christmas, so my biggest complaint about the season is how so many people feel the need to rant about how much they hate it. I don't even mean threads like this one specifically, just the complaints that seem to be pretty widespread everywhere I go.
Yep.
-
I wouldn't call it the worst Christmas song, but I find it to be a boring one.
For some reason that song puts me in a good nostalgic mood every time.

Love: Seeing family. Christmas traditions such as picking out a tree, making cookies, Christmas movies, etc. Time off of work. Giving people gifts. Holiday beer.
Hate: Visiting pretty much any store in the month of December. People who complain about the Holidays.
-
The Santa Claus. The sequel is a little weak, but I've always enjoyed the original. Tim Allen did a good job with it.
-
I like Bruce Springsteen's rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". And I generally despise Bruce Springsteen. It's one of the biggest catch-22s in my life.
Another one: That "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" song by whoever the hell sings it. That makes me want to punch a baby.
-
Yeah, that's the winner
Yep. Case closed.
-
Home Alone (1 & 2), It's a Wonderful Life, Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa, A Christmas Carol, Elf, The Grinch with Jim Carrey.
-
Likely Scenario: The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins all implode the rest of the season.
Likely Scenario: YOU'RE going to implode the rest of the season.

Funny to see that anyone criticized arm strength under those conditions last night.
You can't fix ridiculous.
