Are you comparing Tom Brady to Jeff Rutledge? I don;t see the Patriots dominate the run game like the Giants did.

Won a Super Bowl last year.
I think it is well believed that the Denver defense won the Super Bowl. Here is what ESPN said about Dennison "Dennison, 58, served as the Denver Broncos' offensive coordinator the past two seasons under former coach Gary Kubiak, who called offensive plays. The Broncos' offense finished 27th in yards per game this season after a 16th-ranked performance in 2015, when Denver won the Super Bowl in Peyton Manning's final season." Do we really want an offensive coordinator who doesn't call the plays?
-
Odell is an extremely talented wide receiver who is a prima-donna. I hate the attitude, but love the play.

Nobody knows the guy better than Belicheat. If he's willing to trade him in the division, I don't want him! See Bledsoe, Drew for the only example I need.
Add another to this thought. Does anyone remember Rob Johnson -- don't want to go thru that again.

I could not tell from the video if he reached the ultimate conclusion to his actions. It could have been pretty interesting to see his "O" face as well. I gotta believe he did this on a dare or a bet.

This is just spitballing. Whaley is a creative guy and, assuming he's around this February, maybe some conversations like this will occur within the "brain"trust at One Bills Drive.
Would you trade Tyrod for:
Kirk Cousins straight up (assuming, of course, that Washington would consider the idea after Cousins's recent slide)?
or
either Broncos QB?
I'm not a cousins fan, but I would do it. Siemian for me is a no absent a sweetener draft pick that Broncos would part with (assuming they are willing to take Tyrod on the first instance). Lynch ... is an interesting idea depending on how the Broncos/Elway/Kubiak feel about Tyrod.
Kirk Cousins for Tyrod Taylor. I am guessing there would be multiple bottles of Tequila involved in order to get the Skins GM to sign up for this. One of these QBs has thrown for over 4000 yards each of the last two seasons and has made the playoffs last season and then other struggles to get to 200 yards in a game and will not be in the playoffs.

This guy is the best WR in the upcoming draft, and the best overall offensive player in the draft IMO. It's exactly what the Bills offense needs. I know, I understand, we need a QB first, I'm just not sure there's one worth a 1st rounder.
Corey Davis, on the other hand, will be a premier WR in the NFL and quickly. I'm all about building an offensive juggernaut and that starts with a real QB, and restocking our WR's, which are pretty bad.
I like this guy alot, but the top rated wideout in the 2017 draft is Mike Williams from Clemson. Since he's from Clemson, he's almost a sure fire Bills pick.

It is a sad day for those of us who are Bills fans in the Washington DC / Virginia area. The next best place to go for us Bill's fans:
Jimmy's Old Town Tavern in Herndon VA. http://www.jottnew.com/

Here is my top 10 nominees (in no specific order). I know I am missing someone.
-Eric Moulds
-Lesean McCoy
-Ted Washington
-Jairus Byrd (dont flame me)
-Peerless Price (let the flames continue)
-Travis Henry (im fully lit now)
-Takeo Spikes
-Drew Bledsoe (i feel odd writing that)
-Lee Evans
-Marshawn Lynch
Hon. mention-Sam Cowart
I would add Kyle Williams and Jason Peters. Plenty on the list to knock off to add Kyle.

I forgot to mention the guy brushing of the field with the tractor. He definitely showed up. How embarrassing for the Pegula's that must have been.
There is another guy getting fired today in addition to Rex - the brush guy. It's like they never had to clean snow off the field before. "Come On Man"

What are you willing to pay for Tony Romo next season assuming he is let go or is open to a contract revise. The man is a great QB, clearly way ahead of Tyrod but more injury prone he may have 2-3 quality seasons left in him behind a decent line.
What would you trade for him?
What would you pay for him if he hit the open market?
Besides the obvious injury factor folks have already highlighted, my question is how would Tony do playing in the weather of Buffalo. He's been in sunny, warm Dallas his whole career - a place where the wind & cold are not a factor. I would fully expect the cold and wind to mess with him and bring down his productivity. Yes, I know he has played in Philly, and NY, and Green Bay, but that's just 2-3 games a year and how productive was he there(I don't know the answer). Playing half his games in an outdoor, windy stadium will make a difference.

I know its only Dec. but I've lost faith in TT.
Cousins a UFA at seasons end, he has better stats then TT, and we have better weapons when healthy here.
thoughts....
The Redskins will not let him leave. If no long term contract, he'll be Franchise Tagged again. As far as better weapons, yes, the Bills have better running backs, but the Bills do not have better wideouts or a better tight end. In fact, our Tight End is a 2 and theirs is a 9 or 10 and the combination of Jackson, Crowder, and Garcon are better than any combination the Biills could put on the table, even if everyone was healthy.

Pete Gogolak vs Dan Carpenter
vs Steve Christi

We've lost nothing in the run game with Groy in there. I agree with Boyst62 in that Wood is overrated, but he is still one of our best 5 O-lineman, when healthy. I don;t thin either Wood or Groy can plan RT, which is where we need help. Here's my ratings (1-10 scale) of the starting O-Lineman:
Mills - 3
Miller - 5
Wood - 6
Groy - 6 (limited opportunity to evaluate)
Incognito - 9
Glenn - 8
-
I think the pass call was terrible. We are a running team and 3rd & 3 should have been a running down. Put some faith in the O-Line and back. The worst thing that could have happened is we do not make the first, the clock runs down to the 2 minute warning, and then we punt. It was a bad choice, but luckily it did not hurt us.
-
I wanted the Bills to draft Cousins when he came out. I still would like to see him to be on the Bills, but no way he doesn't sign a long term deal with Washington. He'll be the Redskins QB for the next 7-10 years.
-
My changes:
- Right Tackle
- Safety
- Wide Receiver
- Cornerback
We will also be needing a D-Tackle / Nose tackle. Williams is not getting younger and who knows about Marcel.
-
In looking at the replays, it seemed obvious to me that Sherman knew he was offsides and specifically targeted hitting the kicker. It was a punk-assed cheap shot if you ask me. He did not even go for the ball.
-
Well, whoever is coaching the secondary, certainly needs to be looked at as someone who is not doing a good job preparing his team. . It seems far too often the Bills secondary does not know who to cover, especially when the offense shows motion.
-
I he the next great QB or is he the next Rob Johnson? I think the latter.
-
If you are ready to sacrifice the season already, then the ball should go to Cardale.
I hope you are kidding. Cardale is no where near an NFL QB and, in my opinion, never will be. That was a wasted pick for the Bills. I can't name the last QB that came out of Ohio St that made it in the NFL as a QB.
-
I gotta say that Tyrod is doing now with really nothing a wide out and a O-Line that has alot of trouble protecting him. Most QBs would have trouble in the situation he is in.
I keep hearing that Clay could be a game changer at tight end -- he certainly has not shown it.

Shady
The "Brown brothers" -- they were dominant
T-Mobile -- the pass protection was horrid today and he consistently escaped
The Coaching staff - I was worried about a let down, but they had the team ready.

I say NO! He's had second and third chances. No need for the disruption. Although, if you think back, the Bills signed TO when no one wanted to touch him and he was good with us.
