Andra Davis nuff said
agreed, and it looks like he might come cheap too

What we do in free agency this year is irrelevant because there are not nearly enough free agents who can make an impact available *and* who would consider signing with the Bills. I think it would be best if we just stick to talking about who to draft this year as well as next year. And maybe the year after that.
Yeah this would be fun, lets never talk about free agents.
-
I' ve always liked Walter, seems to make a lot of receptions, not flashy but a good player.
-
My first choice would be "Another OT" but if I have to choose, I'll go with Tebow. Maybe turn him into an H-Back or something.
This is why I voted for Tebow, if the QB thing doesn't work he would make a nice HB
-
Schouman looked decent before getting injured.
I agree, i think we always overlook him, he does well when he plays but he has been injured quite a bit.
-
1. Are we sure Nelson is ready to start?
2. Olsen's better anyway.
3. Bears are idiots if they even consider dumping a first-round pick -- and their leading receiver last year -- so Martz can bring in one of his old Rams buddies.
The Bears are idiots if they keep him and don't throw him the ball especially if they can trade him and get anything for him. receiving TE's are not used in this offense and he wouldn't be used for what he is getting paid to be good at. paying him to block would be like paying roscoe and expecting him to be a receiver and not return punts.
-
i also think roscoe will have a breakout season in galieys offense .IMO he will be used in the slot kind of like welker.
he is a great talent and a game breaker galiey will utilize those talents mark my words!
We've waited for roscoe and every OC we had in here said he was gonna be part of the offense. when he plays he is not ever open and rops the ball often. I think returning is all he can help us with.
-
I really don't feel as if TE should be as much of a need. We have put draft picks there the last two years and have some young talent. I'd hope for a playmaking linebacker.
-
Well lets put this in perspective....how many times did we reach the playoffs WITH those guys on the roster? Nuff said.
Well being that we only have 1 starter coming back we need to bring in more Wr's. Otherwise we would have 3 1/2 WR's on the roster. so yes something needs to be done with this position group.
-
?
What do you expect them to do right now? sign Matt Jone or Pacman Jones?
-
Try to trade ML for as high a draft pick you can get. If you can, set up a deal with the Faders to trade ML for Michael Bush and a draft pick. If you don't want to do that then trade Lynch and sign Darren Sproles or one of the FA RB's. Then, depending on who is signed, spend a draft pick on a RB in the second half of the draft.
I agree Lynch has been disappionting but the running back position shouldn't be our main concern.
Franchise QB and playmakers on defense.
-
He is saying that because the guys are still on the roster. he has to keep evreyone happy and can't say too much in case they are stuck with them next year

I wouldn't be too upset if it happens.
1-Sam Bradford QB
2-Brandon Spikes ILB
3-Jason Fox LT
4-George Selvie OLB
5-Torrell Troup NT
6-Kevin Haslam OT
6b-Riley Cooper WR
7-Nate Byham TE
7b-Kevin Basped DE
Wouldn't be upset if ths happened. I'm not sold on Bradford yet but I'd take him here is we get Spikes in the 2nd. I feel like we get a good player in Cooper in the 6th round. He doesn't grade out well at the combine stuff but he's a player.
-
if we cant get Mike, Donovan, Seneca or cant draft bradford then yea im all for Dante. I mean he is better than all the players we have and he is 10x better than tyler pigpen. But you have to take in that we dont have the caliber duo of recivers he needs to be great he would be avg on the bills. But at this point ill take avg...
Wow Seneca? I think more people would be upset about that QB choice than any other
-
May go get Merriman to fix LB/De ...
He seems to be washed up after the injuries and roids, wouldn't do it unless he came cheap.

NFL Mock draft 2010
Buffalo Bills
Round
#1 –Anthony Davis –OT Rutgers 6-6 –325lbs.
#2- Cam Thomas- NT North Carolina 6-4 331 lbs.
#3-Jason Fox –OT/OL Miami 6-6 314 lbs.
#4- Ciron Black –OL LSU -6-5 331 lbs.
#5- Vincent Oghobaase DT Duke 6-5 301 lbs.
#6A -Chris Degeare OG Wake Forest 6-4 326 lbs.
#6B- Marcus Easley WR- Connecticut 6-4 212 lbs.
#7A-Josh Hall ILB – Penn State 6-3 236 lbs.
#7B- Alex Daniels DE – Cincinnati 6-2 269lbs.
This would build a solid base for the future of this organization, Of cousre their are still many pieces that need to be filled through Free agancy and UFA. First, build the lines & your team can play competive ball- The QB can't make plays while lying on the ground....Please send feedback: 9- picks total w/o trades.
I like the idea of drafting the bigs and the front 7 on defense, We probavbly won't draft as many I lineman becuase we invested good money on two lineman picks last year and gave a decent money to another offensive lineman. But overall, I like the idea of this draft!!
-
The bills don't have enough scouts on the staff to find hidden gems. Again it goes back to a cheap organization that cuts corners when it comes to areas like scouting. I do hope this will change under Nix.
You say these so I wouls like you to back them up, could you compare the size of the scouting departments to other team's scouting departments? How many scouts do the Bills use compared to other teams? Also, please tell me the scouting budget for the Bills and how that compares to other teams.
I think the Bills do a fine job at drafting late guys and signing rookie free agent pickups (Jason Peters, Jabari Greer, Stevie Johnson, Jim Leanord, Fred Jackson, Derek Schouman) these are just a few that I can think of that they have pickedup recently.
If you say they don't do a good job of drafting top picks I don't think anyone will argue with you but you need to back up these points as they are not common knowledge.

Yeah, our ST sucked. That's why Bobby April was voted coach of the year by his peers. Twice.
I count at least two games we lost directly to our special teams play this year. (Cleveland and N.E.) I also recall a fake punt we didn't convert. Where did we rank on everything this year. This year we weren't good on special teams.
-
I agree with the Lady. ST has been our best unit over the last few years and we just cut 2 "starters".
Since neither Jenkins or Wendling has started a game in the past 3 years, I fail to see how "These guys took spots from 2nd and 3rd stringers that could have provided depth when starters were injured."
Fine has more NFL starts than Maybin and Ellis combined. Sure, he's been hurt but he can probably make it through an off-season without injury.
I am all for improving the overall talent level but I don't think replacing our #6 WR. #6 safety and #4 TE is going to make any difference.
these guys (outside of Fine) aren't even back ups at their positions. When the starters got hurt we signed scrap heap guys to play on offense and defense over these guys. So getting ST players that may contribute somewhere else really upgrades the roster and those positions may be replaced with guys that can compete with other players.
Corto should be next
-
And yet we end up with Maybin, McKelvin, Lynch, Whitner, McCargo, Losman, McGahee, Mike Williams, Erik Flowers, etc.
We don't have the same people in charge of taking players, modrack us still on but he is not making the final decisions
-
WTF? There goes our Special Teams.
REally, they weren't that good anyways. Anyhow, I'd rather have a good offense or defense. A good special teams hasn't been to helpful the last nine years anyway
-
Good ideas, I like the idea of brining more people to the stadium. A Sportbar/museum seem like great ideas. A bigger shopping outlet for Bills gear would be nice, they already do have one though. The pats have a mall in ther stadium, but they do have a bigger market. I would like more events at the Ralp to make money, concerts, festivals, etc.
We also have Ralph's name on the two buildings, that brings in no money. Some corporate sponsorship would be nice on either of these two buildings.
-
hopefully we will get ST players that can actually play a position. these guys represent one of the main reasons we have been bad, depth. These guys took spots from 2nd and 3rd stringers that could have provided depth when starters were injured.
-
Hooray for 3rd string QB's for starting on a Bills team
Good stopgap, not bad when he started for KC

Oh, don't forget National champion, Heisman trophy winner, Heisman Trophy runner-up, TD leader in college football history, great speed, smart, and WINNER.
I would take him in the 2nd and love it. This coach made a decent QB out of jay fiedler, tyler thigpen, and Kordell stewart, I think he could do the same with one of the best athletes coming out this year.
